A pressure washer removes the stain by removing a layer of whatever it hits. On siding that means chalking and streaks. On a roof it means granules in the gutter and years off the shingle.
Soft washing works chemically. A cleaning solution kills the algae and mildew at the root, sits for a few minutes, then rinses off at about the pressure of a garden hose. The house comes out even, the growth stays away longer, and nothing gets forced behind the boards.

Will it damage my plants?
Beds get soaked before we start and rinsed again after, which dilutes anything that reaches them. Tell us about anything delicate and we cover it.
How often should a house be washed?
In the greater Columbia area's humidity, most homes want it every 12 to 18 months. Shaded and tree-lined lots are closer to 12.
Do I need to be home?
Only if the water is shut off or the gate is locked. Otherwise we text before we arrive and again when we finish, with photos.
What if it rains?
We reschedule at no charge. Rain after the wash is fine. The work is already done by then.
Can you wash a two-story house from the ground?
Most of them, yes. Soft wash equipment reaches the second story without a ladder against your siding. Ladders come out for soffits and gutters when the roofline needs it.
